What to write about
- Corrections. If we got a date, a fee, a form number, or a policy detail wrong, tell us. Include the article URL and, where you can, a link to the official source. Corrections are the fastest thing we act on, and we update the article and note the change.
- Story pitches. Submit your own visa journey for the Student Stories section. Tell us your visa type, roughly where you are in the process, and what you wish someone had explained to you earlier. Stories are published only after review, and only with your consent.
- Creator submissions. Immigration attorneys, consultants, and practitioners can be featured in Creator Insights. Send a short bio, your areas of expertise by visa type, and links to work you've published elsewhere.
- Press and research. Journalists and researchers can cite or quote our coverage freely with attribution and a link back to the article. Get in touch if you need context on how a policy change was sourced or interpreted.
- Newsletter help. For subscription problems, missing issues, or deliverability trouble, email us from the address you subscribed with. Every issue also carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately.
What we cannot do
We cannot give legal advice, review your individual case, estimate your approval odds, or tell you what to file. Immigration law turns on facts we don't have, and getting it wrong has real consequences. For advice on your own situation, consult a licensed immigration attorney — the Resources page lists directories for finding one, including low-cost and nonprofit legal service providers.
